LEGAL ENGLISH COURSES...
These legal English courses are designed to improve the English skills of legal professionals or students who have recently completed their law studies. ELSL recognises that precision language skills are the essential tools of all good lawyers. Each member of the teaching staff, at the school, has been purposely selected for their specialist English language qualifications. In addition, all business and legal English teachers at ELSL have particular expertise in either business or the law, to ensure that only the highest quality training is delivered to our students.
Our Legal English courses are intensive, practical and relevant. ELSL recognise that people come to us because their time is valuable – they need a course that will quickly deliver real benefits for them and their organisation.
The Legal English courses at ELSL focus on developing key communication skills, for students to be able to address specific aspects of their role in the legal profession. These courses are targeted at differing occupation levels, to ensure that the English language skills developed, are relevant to the role each student occupies in the work-place.
We are currently offering five legal English courses:
There are opportunities for students to learn English with certain aspects of either Criminal law, Commercial law, Civil law, or Public Administration law, together with EC law and the English Legal System, but none of the ELSL courses are specifically law courses - the emphasis is on English language within any one of these contexts. For students who wish to research these areas of the law, there are extensive reading materials available for students to peruse, in their own time.
